Whenever I come across a website, the first thing that engages me to browse through it is its design and layout. I like websites with colors very pleasing to the eyes so that I won’t have a difficult time reading. It is also convenient if the web page is easy to navigate because people would not have a hard time searching for certain topics in the website.

Out of all these elements, I think what affects my stay in a certain web page is its color and typography. I can be patient and tolerant on other aspects, but if the website's content is very difficult to read due to the color and font used, I instantly close it. For example, red, dark blue, brown, or neon texts on a black background are such a pain to read; all the more if the font size is awfully small and the letters are too close to each other.

I agree that every factor you have mentioned is what makes a web page effective and efficient. People are initially attracted to a certain website if it has good layout, design, and if it is easy to navigate. Upon browsing, it is when people look at the content which must have good quality and is useful to its readers as well. If a person or a business succeeds at this, he then earns loyal and frequent visitors of his web page.
